Schools meeting any of the following criteria can apply for the membership
A. Offering a curriculum in which the culture and educational system of two or more countries are represented; or
B. Offering a curriculum typical of another country, but located in India and actively pursuing cultural exchange with India; or
C. Having body of diverse nationalities, and curricula offerings.
Any school after going through the objectives/bylaws of TAISI must indicate in writing to TAISI its acceptance and intentions to become member of TAISI.
TAISI membership will be approved by majority vote of the board of directors and their decision will be final and binding.
On approval of its membership a new member shall pay the non-refundable membership fee as specified by the association. The membership fee and the annual subscription fees shall be as determined by the board of directors.
The rights and privileges of the members of TAISI are as follows.
1.Each member school shall be represented by no more than two persons, the Principal or the Head of the school and another person designated by the governing body of the school.
2.Each member school shall have only one vote in the general body.
Membership in TAISI shall cease under the following three circumstances:
A. By voluntary resignation.
B. Failure to pay annual subscription fees to TAISI by the due date.
C. Decision by the board of directors on any member school indulging in the activities, which are detrimental to the interest/objectives of TAISI. The boars of directors shall give an opportunity of hearing to the member school before making a decision. Any decision of the board of directors shall be final and binding.
Information required by the members-
Any member of the society may apply to the vice-chairmanship for any information as may be required or any matter of the subjects or rules and regulations of the society.
